Next week, from 23rd to 25th February, the 18th edition of CONNECT Route Development Forum, a great international connectivity event, will be held in Tampere (Finland). The Bilbao Airport Routes Committee has scheduled some thirty meetings with airlines, airports and other agents in the sector.

This prestigious aviation industry event aims to help “boost the aviation industry’s recovery process”. CONNECT will bring together key industry figures to discuss current and future aviation issues in a series of face-to-face interviews, speeches, industry seminars and panel discussions.

“We are delighted to be working with Tampere to deliver a very special winter themed event for all our participants, who will be able to reconnect with their colleagues and also with nature. After the devastating impact of COVID, our forum provides an invaluable platform for networking and rebuilding the sector. It is expected to bring together more than 600 airlines, airports and tourism decision-makers to discuss current and future air transport linkages. More than ever, the pandemic has highlighted the need for human contact and the value of physical events. We look forward to bringing the industry back together in the true spirit of CONNECT,” said Karin Butot, CEO of the CONNECT Route Development Forum.
