Bilbao is the tenth most attractive European city to invest in

The capital of Bizkaia has been rated among 370 European cities, and its economic strengths, business fabric and financial capabilities have been the most recognised values. As the councillor for Economic Development, Trade and Employment, Xabier Ochandiano, says, “this is a great advance, as it is the only large city in the state in this ranking”.

And that’s not all! fDi Intelligence has positioned Bilbao in 6th place in the “Top 10 Mid-Sized European Regions Of The Future 2023”.

The city will attend this year different events such as the Brussels Urban Summit or Eurocities, in order to identify successful projects and best practices in public services and bring them to Bilbao.

The City Council has amended the roadmap, which looks ahead to 2030, to adapt it to the “new global situation”.
