Bilbao Airport achieved the best monthly figure in its history in June, with 604,247 passengers

Landing and take-off movements have exceeded 4,700 operations

Bilbao Airport registered 604,247 travellers in June, turning it into the best month in the history of the infrastructure, with an increase of 13% over the same period last year. International traffic increased by 23.8% compared to June 2022, reaching 245,939 people.

Operations also showed a positive tone in June 2023, recording a total count of landings and takeoffs of 4,762. That is, an increase of 5.5% in comparison to the same month last year.

Accumulated data from January to June

In the first half of 2023, the Biscayan infrastructure handled 2,826,775 travellers, 32.6% more than in the same period of 2022. The airport also operated 23,893 landing and take-off movements, 18.1% more than in the first half of the previous year.
