Bilbao Airport achieved in July the best monthly figure in its history, with 679,997 passengers

Bilbao Airport registered a total of 679,997 passengers, making it the best month in the history of the infrastructure, with 17.1% more people traveling than in the same month of 2022.

Compared to the figures for July of the previous year, domestic traffic increased by 5.2% (383,598 people) and international traffic registered an increase of 37.4% (295,377 people).

Operations also showed a positive tone in July 2023, as 5,133 landing and take-off movements were made, representing an increase of 9.9% compared to the same period in 2022.

Accumulated data from January to July

Since the beginning of the year, the Biscayan infrastructure has provided service to 3,506,772 people, that is, 29.3% more than at the same stage of the previous year. Likewise, compared to said period, the airport has also increased its takeoff and landing movements by 16.5%, with a total of 29,026 operations.
