The new connection between Bilbao Airport and Murcia with Volotea starts to fly

Bilbao Airport has a new operational route as of this weekend. It is the connection between La Paloma and Murcia International Airport, operated exclusively by Volotea. This is not the first time that this airline has linked both destinations. It already did so in the summer of 2019. It also chartered some flights during Christmas 2021.

Now, the ‘airline of Europe’s medium and small cities’ is resuming the route on a regular basis with a couple of weekly connections from Bilbao Airport to the Mediterranean city. During the month of June and also in September, flights will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays. In July and August, they will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Prices start at 22 euros each way.

Volotea also restarted this weekend the route from La Paloma to Castellón, a successful summer connection that has been operating for several seasons now. It also has two weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Both will be operational until at least mid-October.
