Bilbao Airport inaugurates the route with Bari

Shortly before six o’clock in the afternoon, the plane that inaugurated the new connection between La Paloma and the Italian city of Bari landed at Bilbao Airport. This new route will be operational until 30 August and will be operated exclusively by Volotea.

The airline of small and medium-sized cities announced this route at the end of November last year, along with those of Castellón and Murcia. Volotea offers travellers more than six thousand seats and thirty flights. The frequency of the link between Bilbao Airport and Bari will be two per week: Mondays and Fridays. Fares, which have been on sale for weeks now, can be purchased from 57 euros each way.

Bari, capital of the province of Apulia, is one of the most popular Italian destinations for Spaniards in recent times. Its beaches, gastronomy and culture are attracting more and more travellers.

Volotea offers a total of 26 direct destinations from Bilbao Airport this summer season.
