Bilbao Airport hosts this Saturday the ‘Euskal Spotting Weekend’

Bilbao Airport will host this Saturday morning the eighth edition of the ‘Euskal Spotting Weekend’, a very special day in which dozens of aeronautical photography enthusiasts will be able to get to know aviation from a much closer point of view.

Thus, those photographers who usually stand outside Bilbao Airport to capture images of the aircraft will be able to take close-up pictures of the landing and take-off operations.

Thus, this Saturday morning, at the La Paloma facilities, they will be able to immortalise aircraft from the main European airlines that operate at Bilbao Airport.

This ‘Euskal Spotting Weekend’ has the essential support of the Basque Spotting association. With this aeronautical photography event, the Basque airports aim to bring them closer to society, while at the same time contributing to improving the knowledge of their facilities.

The ‘Euskal Spotting Weekend’ kicks off this Thursday in Vitoria, where participants will be able to capture cargo aircraft of different sizes with their cameras during their daily operations. On Friday it will be the turn of San Sebastian airport. There, both short-haul aircraft and light aircraft and aircraft dedicated to general aviation will be in front of their lenses.
