Eurowings to connect Bilbao Airport with Berlin this summer
One of the ‘collateral damages’ that the outbreak of the pandemic had on Bilbao Airport was the loss of some destinations. Little by little they have been recovering. But one as emblematic as Berlin was still missing. Until now. Or, rather, until next summer season.ç
Because from mid-April 2025 Bilbao Airport will once again include the German capital among its wide range of destinations. Eurowings, a subsidiary of Lufthansa, will be in charge of operating this much-demanded route twice a week.
It will do so, moreover, with an eminently tourist-oriented character. Flights are scheduled for Fridays and Mondays. Tickets for this new route are already on sale on the Eurowings website with prices starting at 69.99 euros each way. The connection to Berlin is expected to remain operational until the end of October.
This confirmation of the route to Berlin by Eurowings is in addition to those already confirmed for Bilbao Airport in recent days: Copenhagen, with SAS; Palermo, with Volotea; and the long-awaited transoceanic route to New York, with United.
