Riga joins the list of new destinations from Bilbao

Bilbao will have its first air connection with Latvia as of 4 May 2023. Loiu airport will have a direct and regular route with the Baltic countries for the first time in its history thanks to AirBaltic. The new link will last until October, completing the entire summer campaign and will have two weekly frequencies, on Thursdays and Sundays. The airline will operate these flights with Airbus A220-300.

Tickets for the new route between Bilbao Airport and Riga are already on sale on the company’s website. Flights from the Latvian capital to La Paloma will take off at 10:45 and arrive at Loiu at 13:35. In the opposite direction, they will depart from the Biscayan aerodrome at 14:20 and arrive at their destination at 18:55.

The airline presents this connection as a way of getting to know “the picturesque Basque Country in the north of Spain. Enjoy Bilbao’s creative aura in the art galleries and museums, taste the delicious Basque cuisine and relax on the beautiful beaches of the Atlantic”.
