The Basque Country will host the Grand Départ of the Tour de France on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of July.  As is logical, this great event will have an impact on the traffic that will affect the area around Bilbao airport. Its management has already put all the airlines operating at Bilbao in contact with the Tour organisers, so that they can set up the initiatives they think can best serve to ensure that passengers are properly informed. Traffic restrictions due to the start of the Tour de France will directly affect access to Bilbao airport on Saturday 1 July. Plan your journey to the aerodrome well in advance:

– The A3247 Bilbao – Airport line maintains the service with the scheduled frequencies and maintains the terminus at Bilbao Intermodal station.

It will only offer service between Bilbao Intermodal station and the airport.

-The stops at Gran Vía 79, Moyua square and Alameda Rekalde 11, outbound; and the stops at Alameda Rekalde 14, Gran Vía 46 (Edificio Sota) and Gran Vía 74, return, will be cancelled.
